ArtEffects Exhibition Showcases Libertyville Kids’ Artistic, Musical Talents

Libertyville residents will be able to admire and enjoy the artistic achievements of the school district’s elementary and middle school students thanks to a special exhibition being held at Cook Memorial Library.

The event was kicked off on March 8 with a reception featuring musical performances by the Highland Middle School “Strolling Strings” group. Pieces performed by the group included “Step Dance,” “Over the Rainbow,” and “Do Re Mi” from the Sound of Music, A choir from the school performed music from “The Greatest Showman.”

The art show at Cook Memorial will be on display until the end of March.
